Callie is a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) who decided to make the Aspen Valley her home after several years of practicing as a traveling healthcare provider. Originally from Alabama, Callie graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Nurse Practitioner program in August of 2015. Through her traveling contracts, she has worked in a variety of settings, including a state prison, community mental health, and outpatient psychiatry. Callie has experience treating patients ages 15 and up, and is comfortable working with patients who are pregnant or considering starting a family. She specializes in psychiatric medication management, however also strongly encourages an integrative approach to treating mental health ailments.
She enjoys working with clients who struggle with any mental health issue, but has the most experience in treating major depression, anxiety and mood disorders, sleep disorders, and psychotic disorders. In her free time, Callie enjoys an active lifestyle and is an avid rock climber. She is thrilled to be a part of the Aspen Hope Center and very excited to work with the valley community.
