Craig has a passion for helping students improve their mental health so that they can be successful and happy in school and life. He was a Professional School Counselor in high schools and middle schools for ten years in Reno, NV. He also served as the Counseling Department Chair at Damonte Ranch High School for several years. Community involvement is important to Craig and he was a leader is creating the first dual-language school in Reno. He has also been a mentor for the Roaring Fork Pre-Collegiate program in our Valley. Prior to becoming the School Based Clinician at Basalt High School, Craig was a Counselor and Psychology Instructor at Colorado Mountain College. Craig earned his B.A. in Psychology from St. Michael’s College and went on to earn his Masters and PhD in Counseling & Educational Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno.
